Olde Towne Holiday Music Festival
B-R-R-R-R-R!!! It was certainly cold enough for a winter festival, but the weather didn't stop the thousands of people that came out to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season in Portsmouth! And it certainly didn't stop Santa & Mrs. Claus from zipping around downtown in their golf cart spreading good cheer...but it sure did draw the crowds into Roger Brown's to hear Bill Deal play! This annual favorite was again a huge success. Whether it was the cold or just the good music, the downtown businesses certainly weren't complaining about all the extra patronage they received...business was very very good. And for those of you who weren't able to attend in 2002, go ahead & mark this year's date on your calendar -- Saturday, December 13th, Noon-8 PM. If you enjoy bonfires, strolling characters, holiday music, Santa Claus & holiday cheer, you don't want to miss it!
