Ports Events' newest event of 2003 - Chinese New Year - was held at the Children's Museum of Virginia on Saturday, February 8th...and judging by the 1400 people who attended, the event was a huge success! Among other things, kids were allowed to try on authentic Chinese costumes, make colorful kites, create Chinese art...and best of all, see a real Chinese Lion Dance! Fun was had by all (except maybe the parents who probably had to take aspirin because of the noise level).
